ABOUT US

Penfield Lure Co. was founded in 2017 in Fairfield CT in an attempt to make homemade bucktails to save some money on tackle.  These homemade jigs turned out better than expected and we saw an opportunity to sell them to friends and family. With some time on the water and some fish in the books, we knew these jigs were market-ready! When making these jigs, we did not want to just make another saltwater bucktail. We wanted to create one that was handmade, that would catch fish, and that would last for many uses. Most importantly, we wanted to create a product that would create memories on the water. Our business was born from our love of the ocean and the experiences we get from fishing in it. We hope that when you use our products, you share those same experiences. Tight lines!
